High-Precision Expression Profiling:

Digital, Amplification-free, Quantitative Profiling of RNA, DNA, and miRNA Using the nCounter System

Christopher DeHeer, Ph.D. Applications Scientist 1102A Genomics Auditorium Thursday – May 2, 2013 10:00am – 11:00am

Please join us for a seminar that will discuss a unique technology that enables the digital quantitative detection of hundreds of nucleic acids in a single tube.

• Multiplex up to 800 targets per sample • Only 50ng total RNA needed for standard protocols • No amplification required • SINGLE CELL gene expression protocol (includes some pre-amplification) • High correlation to qPCR and Next-Gen Sequencing, great for validation!

• Eliminates complex bioinformatics analysis; quick and easy analysis • Compatible with total RNA isolated from any source, including FFPE and cell lysates • Use for miRNA, mRNA, lncRNA, karyotyping, and CNV

Refreshments will be served.
