Ways to Contribute to CIDVR

The Center for Infectious Disease Vector Research Fund

The IIGB Center for Infectious Disease Vector Research Fund was established  to broadly support the mission of the Center for Infectious Disease Vector Research. Donations received through this fund will assist the Center in endeavors such as those listed below.

Undergraduate Researchers

Undergraduate students from across the country come to IIGB labs every summer
to do research in plant cell biology (2007 group pictured above)

  • Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers and graduate students and scholarships for undergraduate students
  • Funding an Seminar Series or Symposium for IIGB and/or its affiliated Centers.
  • Support for students and postdoctoral researchers to present their research at national/international meetings
  • Innovative pilot interdisciplinary research projects
  • Acquisition and maintenance of equipment to facilitate research
  • Support for training/workshops on instrumentation or research approaches
  • Undergraduate student internships
  • Awards for outstanding achievement by postdoctoral researchers, graduate and undergraduate students
  • Community outreach and student recruitment efforts



Credit card donations to the IIGB CIDVR Fund can be made at UCR's secure Online Gift Form.  There is also a space to further designate your donation to a specific purpose related to IIGB's activities, or directly to one of the IIGB-related Centers/Facilities below:
