Introduction to Synthetic Long-Reads Lunch & Learn Seminar

You are invited to hear firsthand reports of how scientists are using Illumina long-read technology to advance their research during a special lunch presentation. Longer sequence reads can facilitate alignment and improve the accuracy of genome assembly by providing insight into traditionally challenging regions, such as stretches of repetitive elements. Learn about an innovative technology for generating long reads combining a new library prep method and genome analysis tools from Moleculo, a part of Illumina since 2012.

When:
Wednesday, December 10, 2014
12:00 PM- 4:00 PM

Where:
University of California Riverside
2150 Batchelor, 1102A Genomics Building, Auditorium, Riverside, California 92521

Agenda:
